Garry Robb - Chairman of the Board of Directors and Senior Vice President - Technology and Patents:

Garry Robb has more than twelve years experience in the electronic commercial field and has managed and carried out extensive research with regard to controllers, telecommunications devices and automatic identification.

Garry has been directly involved with the application analysis for new product development and directed research and development with the University of Edinburgh, and assisting in the development of “bread board” circuits through to working prototypes. For these projects, he solely directed all phases of product development, from inception to production. In 1995 he began directing the research and development for the now patented Multiphone.

Dr. Harry Ma -  Chief Technical Officer

AVT is pleased to announce that Dr. Harry Ma has been appointed as Chief Technical Officer.

Harry has been working on multimedia compression, coding and communications over wireless and Internet for more than fifteen years, and his contributions in this area have been utilized in many applications.

Kim Johnson - Director, Corporate Secretary, Vice President and General Counsel:

Kim Johnson is a partner of Ross, Johnson & Associates in Victoria, British Columbia and practices commercial law with a preferred area of practice in exempt securities offerings and real estate disclosure documents for whole and fractional strata lot sales by developers.

Kim’s practice has a particular emphasis on representing entrepreneurial clients requiring financing to fund growth or acquisitions. Kim’s clients presently include a publicly traded real estate investment trust, a TSX-Venture listed public company, a Canadian company trading on the US pink sheets, and various private companies and limited partnerships, including an oil and gas company with a flow-through share offering and companies entitled to the 30% BC Venture Capital tax credit.

Kim also has several clients that have goods manufactured in China or that have partnered with Chinese businesses. Kim was formerly a partner with a major inter-provincial law firm and has been involved in many large transactions including the Hibernia offshore oil project. Kim is also the director of a TSX-Venture listed public company and of several private companies.

Kim was called to the Saskatchewan Bar in 1982 and to the B.C. Bar in 1984 and is listed as a member in the 2006-2007 National Registries Who’s Who in Executives and Professionals.
